Activities

Fishing, boating and swimming

Corrour’s lochs and burns are home to wild trout and pike.  You can fish from the banks, or hire a rowing boat.  Our ghillies are on hand for lessons or advice.  Off-bank fishing permits are included for lodge and house guests.  Day visitors can buy permits through the Estate Office, the Youth Hostel or the Station House Restaurant.

Renting a canoe or rowing boat is a wonderful way to relax at Corrour. Spend an afternoon exploring Loch Ossian, setting your pace as you enjoy the wild, natural beauty.  There are small sandy beaches and islands that are perfect for a picnic.  If you’re lucky you may even spot an otter or a black-throated diver!

You can rent boats for a half or a full day.  Please contact the estate office for more information on

Why not go for a swim in one of our many lochs and burns …. Our wild swimming is remarkable, even addictive!
