Sgor Ghaibre means ‘Goat Hill.'
Built in 1861, it forms part of estate buildings complex at Corriecreagach and features original pine-clad walls and wooden flooring. The sitting room, with its wood-burning stove, is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the estate.
The landscaped lawns in front of this semi-detached house contrast beautifully with Corrour’s rugged wilderness.
Sitting room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower above bath (also accessible from the hall), shower room, kitchen and dining room.
Twin bedroom, triple bedroom (3 single beds).
Given Corrour’s isolation, we recommend that guests arrive with plenty of provisions! Our nearest local shop is in Roy Bridge, just over twenty miles from Corrour village. There is also a Morrisons and a small Tesco in Fort William, which is a one-hour drive away.
At Corrour we are committed to the highest standards of environmental stewardship. We only use carefully-selected cleaning products and stock our cottages with environmentally-friendly washing-up liquid and natural linen tea towels. Guests come to Corrour to escape city life and to enjoy the natural wilderness. In keeping with this, none of our cottages have televisions or radios.
