The Steading and Strathossian are Corrour’s most remote houses. Eight miles from the main road and three miles from Corrour village, they are the perfect get-away for those seeking total seclusion.
Beside a small wood near the banks of Loch Ghuilbinn, Strathossian dates back to the early nineteenth century. Due to its remote location it has unspoilt views of the surrounding wilderness and Corrour’s abundant wildlife.
Kitchen, sitting room, single bedroom, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower above bath (also accessible from the sitting room).
Double bedroom, triple bedroom (3 single beds), bathroom with shower above bath.
Given Corrour’s isolation, we recommend that guests arrive with plenty of provisions! Our nearest local shop is in Roy Bridge, just over twenty miles from Corrour village. There is also a Morrisons and a small Tesco in Fort William, which is a one-hour drive away.
At Corrour we are committed to the highest standards of environmental stewardship. We only use carefully-selected cleaning products and stock our cottages with environmentally-friendly washing-up liquid and natural linen tea towels. Guests come to Corrour to escape city life and to enjoy the natural wilderness. In keeping with this, none of our cottages have televisions or radios.
